The shopping in Puerto Vallarta is as rich and diverse as the history and culture. Natural beauty isn't the only attraction in Puerto Vallarta; it's a shopper's paradise as well.
The city has hundreds of shops where visitors can purchase designer fashions, trinkets, sombreros, collector crafts and art from all over Mexico and beyond. Everything is available -- from the exquisite yarn and intricate bead work of the Huichol Indians to hand loomed tablecloths.
Since Mexico is the worlds largest producer of silver, you will find excellent values on jewelry of every description. (Sterling silver will always have .925 stamped on it.)

Mundal de Cristal - In our small factory the glass blowers with their ideas have help to build one of the best glass collections made of a strong kind of glass. When you visit our showroom you’ll see a variety of products displayed and available for purchase. Mata Ortiz Pottery - The highly skilled artists are not bound by the traditional designs of the ancient civilization of Casas Grandes that gave birth to their art form. There are similarities to the finer Southwestern Native American pueblo and Mimbres pottery. Many of the pieces still include design elements of ancient Casas Grandes pieces – the “plumed serpent”, interlocking spirals, lightning and other symbols. However, Mata Ortiz potters have shared, innovated, experimented, and developed their own artistic styles while continuing to maintain the high quality workmanship for which Juan Quezada set the standard. Mata Ortiz pottery is increasingly being displayed in galleries, and museums throughout the United States and the homes of many collectors.
